NASAW - Northeast Area Strings Academy of Wichita

CMATB’s music education and outreach programs for youth began in 2001 and continue to be a vital part of our mission to enhance, support and supplement the music programs offered through the regional schools. Four music camps will be offered this summer, three on the grounds of Prairie Pines where small air-conditioned rehearsal “barns” in the woods and the opportunity for swimming and recreation between coaching sessions throughout the day, give campers a music education experience unduplicated in the region. Our 2013 camps  include:

A week of intensive study of chamber and orchestral music for middle school and high school string musicians.

Total Tuition $250  /   $50 due at registration
and balance of $200 due by June 15

Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m

Bows at The Barn

A weekend chamber music retreat for amateur adult string and woodwind musicians. This Friday evening, Saturday daytime and Sunday afternoon event includes coaching, workshops and large group sessions. Sunday afternoon is our camp recital.
